Fall River, MA - In southeastern Massachusetts, a city of approximately 89,000 residents has dubbed a local patron with the grand title "The Most Interesting Man in the World". The contest was circulating through Facebook ensuring its privacy from the nominees. Over 1,275 people voted, and with 856 votes, the landslide winner of the title "The Most Interesting Man in the World" is Joseph Salvador.
Born in Sao Miguel, Portugal, Jose Maria made his debut in Fall River in 1969 at just 9 years old. With his outgoing and friendly persona, he quickly assimilated into the American lifestyle. As a young man, he was able to use his innate ability to connect with others to his advantage when he entered into the business of sales. Although he lacked a high school diploma, his confidence lifted him to great heights, not only in his career, but in his life. Eventually, Joe left his sales career and decided to exercise his brute and masculinity in the field of construction.
He began his outings on the weekends in 2003, where he'd find pleasure in mingling and conversing with fine people. Now, 13 years later, his reputation has skyrocketed and everyone enjoys the presence of this fun and loving guy. Joe's current favorite "hang-out spots" are Tequila Lime and The Cove, although he can be found at any restaurant enjoying the city's nightlife. So, let's give a big shout out to The Most Interesting Man in the World and let's thank him for sharing his big personality and eclectic style (blue plaid suit anyone?) with all of us!

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
