A young Jamaican man , former John. F. Kennedy High School student is being accused of running a lucrative drug business out of a bedroom in his mother’s house while still a teenager.

The suspect, now 17, known as “LS9 /Lil Squeek.” is accused of being the criminal mastermind who sold “hashish, ecstasy tablets, cocaine, LSD and prescription pills” all out of his bedroom, according to The Local. He is accused of moving some 2,000 pounds of banned substances with a total value of 450,000 Euros (roughly $489929.23)

You’d think all those drugs, which the teen sent out by mail, would have raised suspicion in his home, but the fresh-faced Dixon mother said he’d been withdrawn in recent times and had banned her from entering his bedroom for a year.

The young kingpin, who’s been given the nom de guerre the “bedroom dealer” by the media, had been savvy in covering his tracks, selling his illicit merchandise on the dark web, encrypting his email, and using bank accounts opened under fake names.

Ultimately, he was busted when some nosy neighbors opened a package of drugs that had been left in the hallway of its intended recipient.

His trial is set to be placed to January 16, 2017 with a possible seven years in juvenile detention, which seems quite harsh for a young person with his type of entrepreneurial spirit.

As for those nosy neighbors, jail them too.

Further information is yet to be released

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
