Moreno Valley female arrested for involment in triple homicide

A 21-year-old woman was charged with three counts of murder Monday in connection with the shooting deaths of three people, including a , in Moreno Valley. Natalie Santana Charged in the triple shooting that took place about 9:15 p.m. October 24, according to a news release from the Riverside County Police Department.
Santana is accused of fatally shooting 23-year-old Sierra Johnson, 19 year-old Travon Clark , and 25-year-old Samatha Reed.
Santana allegedly approached the victims from behind as they exited a wal-mart store and opened fire.
Investigators believed Santana was targeting Johnson, a documented gang member and recently paroled felon. It was not yet known whether he had any connection to the other two victims.

Police released photos from the scene that showed the shooter, prompting dozens of tipsters to contact investigators and say Santana was the suspect, a police news release stated.

Santana was arrested Monday, October 23, after going to check in with her probation officer. She has refused to provide a statement about the triple shooting, police said.

She was scheduled to be arraigned on Monday, a representative of the Moreno Valley County District Attorney’s Office said.

Investigators believe there are additional witnesses with information that may help the case. Those with information are asked to call the Riverside County Sheriff Department at 909-384-5742
