Police and federal marshals in Alabama continued their search on Tuesday for a suspect in a double homicide who has shot six people, including two police officers, and is thought to be wielding an AK-47.
The man live-streamed his escape on Facebook after wounding two officers and fleeing in their patrol car, saying that things were "going to be intense," according to an affidavit released on Monday night.
Police also said the suspect, 25-year-old Gregory Harris, has a communicable disease that he "may attempt to spread."

Harris has thus far been charged with two counts of murder, one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of a firearm after conviction of a felony, according to the court documents. He was recently released from the Etowah County Jail in Alabama on accusations of assault and battery.
Police said Harris came out firing with an assault weapon after officers responded to reports of shots in the area. The two officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries, officials say, and were temporarily disabled as Harris fled the scene in their patrol car. One officer was shot in the foot and another was hit by gunfire in both legs. Entrekin issued a notice to alert residents of the likelihood that Harris would return to the Attalla or Etowah County areas and that other people may be in danger as a result of his presence.
The sheriff instructed local residents not to approach Harris but to call 911 and let the police handle the situation.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
