Det Allen Shoals of the Buffalo Police property Crimes task force: he (Tortorice) was out of town and serving time in Hernando Co Florida for other similar crimes, and thats why our petty crime rate dipped a bit from 2011 to early this year. Suspected of burglarizing at least a dozen houses in the cities Black Rock section since May, Shoals said "Hes not the smartest thief, His partners tend to give him up, and fingerprints on over a dozen locations tell us all we need to know" Surprisingly, he's actually done more damage to the victims homes and cars breaking in than the value of the items hes taken"

Anyone with information on Adam Tortorices whereabouts can earn up to $2500.00 by contacting the Buffalo police dept TIPCALL by phone using the Confidential Tip Line at 847-2255. All information is held in the strictest confidence. Detective Lopes-":When you call you can remain anonymous and we can issue you a combination code word, if he's picked up you can claim the reward"

Detective Allen West - "He's got some weird habits, and anyone thats familiar will know what they are, and some of the odd items he steals from womens houses. He's a typical drug addict thief, but a con-man as well, we have reports of him asking to use passerby's cell phones claiming its an emergency, and in one elderly womans case, she was kind enough to let him use her phone and he took her phone and her wallet, leaving her stranded on Grant street late at night" He typically victimizes friends and family, crying the broke and homeless act, stays a few days and typically cleans em out when they arent looking.

We hope to get him off the street soon....

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
