Cheyenne residents were shocked Friday night when a 47 years old man took the stage at this year's Miss Wyoming Pageant.
Wyoming native William Mundschenk represented the town of Point of Rocks. It seems he was nominated as a practical joke by his friends last July, but for Bill it was anything but a joke. Mundschenk took the opportunity to strike a blow for the resent nationwide Men's Liberation Movement (MLM.) "What's wrong with a fella feeling pretty once in a while," commented Mundschenk.
Strangely enough, by the end of the night the other contestants seemed to rally around him. "I was offended and angry at first, but Bill had old world manors and showed all of us respect back stage," said the current Jill Hays the current Miss Gillette. "Ya, at first we thought he was gay, because he wouldn't look at us when we were dressing, but then we saw how he looked into his wife's eyes and we all fell in love with him," remarked another contestant.
Dashingly Bill took the stage in a full tuxedo for the Evening Ware competition for a stunned audience that quickly understood that he was not kidding. He also did well in the Talent competition where he showed off his weight lifting prowess. But the night ended for him shortly after a Speedo appearance in the bathing suit competition caused many jaws to drop.
"He still made the top 20. Not to shabby," said the event organizer. Even though he didn't win the competition, Mr. Mundschenk didn't go home empty handed. As an annual event tradition the girls all voted and you guessed it, there is a new Miss or rather Mister Congeniality.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
