The well known Gap Factory store at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont, Illinois is set to film a Reality Series this fall starring it's employees.
The place customers go to catch a huge bargain on Gap brand clothing can now expect to shop with cameras present during all normal business hours for 3 months starting this October.
The series is set to premiere on MTV next year and MTV has released and early cast photo.
MTV released a statement about the series siting that viewers will get an in depth view of life as a retail employee along with getting to know its dynamic cast of Gap employees. The series will document the personal and professional lives of its cast, which includes life outside of Gap. They stated that they particularly chose this location because of its fun, diverse group of dedicated employees.
The show has began filming and will continue on for 3 months, shoppers are welcomed in as normal but a disclaimer is posted at the entrance giving MTV rights to film and air anyone who chooses to enter.
The filming of the series has already caused controversy, numerous complaints that filming distrupts shopping or of regular customers who do not wish to be filmed.
This comes of a new lineup of Reality Series for MTV, as they wish to create content that is relatable and interesting to viewers.
Gap Life: Chicago is set to premiere early next year, only on MTV!

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
