Greenville Woman accused of stealing tacos

A South Carolina woman was arrested last week after apparently being unable to resist the temptation of crispy, hot, fresh tacos.

An unidentified man who was dining at the Papi's Tacos in Greenville, SC last Wednesday when the woman approached and tried to start a conversation, WYFFU reported.

During the chat, the woman allegedly reached over, took a taco and ate it. Then, she did it again.

“I then politely asked her to not do that again because I paid for that food and she was stealing from me and she could be arrested for theft of my food,” the man said in a police report cited by FOX Carolina.

"She was drunk and hungry." The man continued. "She had this look in her eye, like a crazed taco-eating demon."

The man flagged down an officer eating on the other side of the restaurant. By the time the officer made his way over, the woman had consumed nearly 12 more tacos from nearby patron's plates.

"She ate all our tacos. " said another victim on the police report.

After eating a total of fifteen tacos in five minutes, the woman was arrested and charged with second degree theft.
