Local teenager aged 16, from Pontefract, West Yorkshire has recently been taken into court over theft and denial, shockingly its only £1! He borrowed this from a 'friend' but failed to return it back.

Lucas Dion Benstead another teenager aged 16, also from Pontefract, West Yorkshire was in McDonalds, Pontefract with Daniel James Lee (also known as Dan) when he asked Daniel to purchase a medium Diet Coke for him out of Lucas' £2 coin. Unfortunately Dan felt powerful with this money and decided not to give Lucas his change back short after Lucas began to question Daniel about where the £1 had gone as he didn't remember Daniel giving him the £1 back... Daniel began to quickly deny all of the allegations that Lucas was making and after enough harassment from Lucas he admitted to taking the £1 change but said "I don't have it on me at the minute I'll give you it tomorrow" Lucas took his word for it and saw Daniel the following Day. Daniel began to deny the allegations again even after admitting to taking the £1 that belonged to Lucas so Lucas told Daniel "you either give me my £1 back or I'll take you to court Dan, I'm not joking" Daniel thought Lucas must of been joking and replied with "okay, do it. Funny, init"

The court date is scheduled on the 7th November 2016 at 9am. Lucas has told prosecutors that if Daniel will pay him the £1 back before the 5th of November he will close this case. We find this very rude for Daniel to do, also snakey.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
