Senior Quarterback from St. Joseph High School in Westchester, Illinois, is a candidate for the Gatorade Player of the Year. He has already won Mr. Illinois Football and wants to win Gatorade Player of the Year honors. He is an All Conference, All Area, All State, and an All American winner.

Being only listed as a 5 foot 8 inch quarterback and weighing 160 pounds, he made work with what he had. This is not a typical height and weight for the postion as a quaterback in this day and age now. He hopes to grow a little taller or be moved to another position.

"I would like to become taller and bigger and still play quaterback, but if it doesn't work out, I can hopefully play receiver," said Isaiah Davis. "I feel that they can use me wherever position they need to put me at."

"I really love this kids talent and athletic ability. I feel that we can offer him a full ride to play for us and i really hope he would join our team for the fall next year." -Mark Dantanio, Michigan State Football Head Coach

"He can become the next Cam Newton of this program. He really can be the next Cam, or Bo Jackson and play different positions wherever he is needed. -Guz Malzahn, Head Coah of Auburn Tigers Football

Davis finished his career with 6,000 Pass Yards, 45 Touchdowns, 3 INTS, 1,000 Rush Yds, and 25 Touchdowns. In total, he ended up with 7,000 yards and 70 Touchdowns and 3 INTS in his career at St. Joseph High School.

"We just love the guy and I hope that he would come play for us, whether it is the Quarterback position or the Wide Receiver position." - Dabo Swiney, Head Football Coach at Clemson University.

Davis is highly recruited and has offers from Illinois, Michigan State, Louisville, Clemson, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Texas at Austin, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, North Carolina State, Baylor, Texas A&M, Missouri, USC, UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Michigan, Penn State, and Ohio State.

"I have considered and narrowed my list down to ten schools," said Davis. "The schools are Michigan State, Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Tennessee, USC, Ole Miss, Auburn, Illinois, and Florida."

We hope to have his announcement soon and be able to get his commitment soon, or wait for February 1, 2017, which is national signing day. It will be live at St. Joseph High School in Westchester, Illinois.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
