In 2008, a local business man that elected to be referred to as "Mr. D", also a biker enthusiast began a lifestyle in what some call "the motorcycle set". Mr. D was a biker for many years before joining the set, however, he never attended Motorcycle Club or Social Club events. As time went on Mr. D began to attend various anniversary parties, an event that each club hosts to celebrate another year of their existence. In the early stages of his motorcycle set lifestyle, he noticed a lot of women would dress in athletic wear, typically pants, shirt, and sneakers. During his first few years he noticed a transition to more of a semi casual, night life appearance. Women wore heels of many different styles, colors and heel height. He often noticed the lack of skill some of the women had to walk in heels. Mr. D described it as, "Do you remember when Bambi was learning to walk?". The discomfort to these women often led to them taking off their shoes and walking barefoot. Mr. D wanted to put an end to the struggle endured by these women. He developed a business plan so he could sell flip flops at the anniversary parties. This idea would be beneficial to all, the businessman, the women in pain, and the men who had to watch. Mr. D began a mobile business called "Saving Soles", going to local motorcycle anniversary parties selling flip flops. His business has been very successful, he plans on expanding within the years to come. He also provided a subtle hint that he will have flip flops in vending machines so his services will be available to all.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
