A man found nearly naked, beaten at Union Ranch park was then arrested for public intoxication in modesto, according to a police report obtained by WMBF.
An officer responded to the call Wednesday at about 4:30 a.m. and found 32-year-old Jimmy Sisk with only torn boxers, a cowboy hat, boots, and gashes on his body.
The police report said Sisk kept repeating himself and saying, “Oakdale bud!” The police report also says that when they asked him to turn around and take his hands out of his underwear, he responded with "dammit nah you sumbitch."
Modesto police believe two or three transients assaulted Sisk, took his clothes and stole $25 and a can of chewing tobacco from him.
EMS responded to the scene, but Sisk was not cooperative, the report said.
According to the report, after about 20 minutes the responding officer arrested Sisk because he was slurring his words, not making any sense and unsteady on his feet.
An ambulance transported Sisk to Memorial Hospital.
A bar employee said Brooks was drinking at the bar earlier in the night celebrating his birthday.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow.
