High senior charged with raping 14-year-old girl

Juan Salabarria, 21, of 63 Robbins St.,Lancaster ,Pa. was arrested Tuesday and charged with rape of a child with force and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over, the Brockton Enterprise reported.
He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday morning and was ordered held on $5,000 bail.
The victim is the same girl who police said was raped by a Level 3 sex offender in a South Queen St. cemetery early Monday morning, Oct. 17.
Around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 17, Lancaster police were on routine patrol at the St. James Cemetery on S.Queen Street when an officer noticed a car leaving the cemetery.
The officer ran the car's license plate, and the driver was identified as Juan Salabarria 21, of Lancaster City , who is a registered Level 3 sex offender on active probation.
He was pulled over and police interviewed Lovejoy and the victim and determined that he met the victim through Kik, an anonymous messaging phone app.
Juan Salabarria drove from S.Lime St. to S.Queen st. and picked up the victim and drove her to the cemetery where he raped her, police said. He was arrested and charged and is being held on $1 million bail.
While police were interviewing the victim, the girl told police that she had been raped previously by the son of her parent's landlord in in June.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild.
