Nephi , Utah. Police were in for quite a surprise when they pulled a car over just to realize that the driver was fully naked. It would not be such a surprise for the experienced officers, if not for the fact that there was a... drunk midget in the passenger’s seat. Buckled in. Moreover, there were over a dozen chickens in total sitting on the back seat and in the trunk.

The driver, Jethrow Lowry (33), initially was unable to recall his name, or how the midget and animals got in the car. After a moment he stated that they were probably hitchhiking and complained that the chickens refused to fasten their seat belts.

The officers performed a breathalyzer test, but it turned out that Lowry was completely sober. Drug tests also proved Lowry was clean.

Meanwhile, Lowry frequently changed his testimony. He claimed that the chickens must have flown in through an open window when he stopped at a red light, and in just a moment he changed the story claiming that they and the midget were already in the car when he bought it.

Then Lowry claimed the midget and chickens kidnapped him while he was hitch hiking, He even tried to convince the officers that he was not the one driving, despite the fact that he was still sitting behind the wheel.

Fortunately, officers received an information about a break-in to the local poultry farm and connected the two events.

Lowry did not agree with the accusation of theft, claiming that the midget and chickens freed themselves and he only wanted to give them a taste of a better life.

Lowry was arrested. He is accused of burglary and theft, however, due to the low value of the stolen goods the case will probably end with a fine.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
