Manhunt for a Chicago rapper !(ABC7NEWS) — What began with a gunshot turned into a chase, a car crash, and a very tense morning for police in Chicago and West Englewood, where schools were closed a search for a Chicago rapper and other suspects.

Around 9:40 A.M., Chicago police officers on patrol heard gunfire coming from the 6300 block of South Damen Street, police said. When they arrived on the scene, the officers saw someone inside a gray Audi shooting at a group of people standing outside.
Officers confronted the shooters, and at least one person inside the car opened fire on the police. At least one officer returned fire as the shooters drove away, but no one was struck.

Police chased the Audi for about four miles, until the driver headed down a dead-end street at 64th and Hamilton in West Englewood. With no way to get out, the driver crashed into a garage door, and three people inside bailed out.

Officers captured suspects, but the rapper remained on the loose Monday morning, prompting a manhunt on the ground and in the air. Harper High School District canceled all classes on Monday as a precaution.

However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
