MILWAUKEE — A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman has been criminally charged in connection with the shooting death of a 30 year old man, who we have yet to find out his name. The incident occurred on the North Side off of 64th And Silver Spring on October 25th.

Arijana Cooks-Rodriguez faces one count of felony murder in this case.

According to a criminal complaint, when officers arrived on scene, they found the victim on the floor of Rodriguez's home — covered in blood and screaming that he could not breathe. Life-saving measures were attempted, but were unsuccessful.

A witness told investigators he was waiting in the car outside for Rodriguez to come back with his money, but instead he heard gun shots. He stated that he over heard the victim screaming for help — indicating he had been shot. The man called 911, and told investigators: “That a man had been shot.”

The complaint indicates investigators spoke with a man who said he was with the victim who was wanting to buy heroine from Rodriguez. This man said about two weeks prior to the victim's death, the victim met up with Rodriguez — asking her if he could to credit some more heroine until he got paid.

On October 25th, the man said he and the victim picked up Rodriguez and they drove to 64th And Silver Spring . They entered a home in the area, and once inside, the man stated that Rodriguez pointed a gun at himself, and the suspect said: “Give me everything you have.”

The man told investigators he lunged at Rodriguez and grabbed her by the arm. The gun then went off several times — and the man was hit in the face not being able to exit the home, while the other man took off after being shot only once.

A man named John Mccain tried to intervene, and eventually Rodriguez fled the home.

Milwaukee Police are looking for Arijana Cooks-Rodriguez. Police stated that, "She is very dangerous and armed".

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
