In a surprise twist to this year's Presidential election, a new candidate has emerged out of the city of Hot Springs Arkansas.
Though not being on the ballot, Presidential write in candidate, Edward Withrow, has taken a surprise lead over both Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic Hillary Clinton by 15 in key battle ground states.
Presidential candidate Withrow, has gone unnoticed by most, but now as the final election approaches, his campaign has kicked in to full gear.
Unlike Presidential candidates, current and past, Mr. Withrow has made his message clear via old fashion telephone calls. His campaign platform is simple, " Let's be Americans again".
When asked by this reporter about where he stands on foreign policy, he was quoted as " Let's worry about us first! For too long we have taken on the problems of the world, when we have our own here that are suffering, our own people go without, while others receive our aid. Once we get our own taken care of, we will worry about them, but hear this, if you mess with us, we will respond with a knock out blow.
When asked about the current rise of police shootings, his response was fantastic, " it happens, it's sad but it happens, and no amount of government over site will stop them, Sorry if that offended anyone, but you, the people hold that answer, not me so you fix it."
When asked about the economy, he said "I have a solution to that, but can't really elaborate at this time".
We will bring you more on this story in the coming days

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
