I have a 8 year old son who's very intelligent kinda introverted and has the World's worst attitude.. I've been called to my son school 4 times in the 3 weeks. He's had incidents with staff and other students but soon as he see me he's crying. Never has my son told me what his teacher told me..his excuses are they hit me" or they threw something at me". Now this my dilemma who should I believe? Now my son goes to Andrew Rickoff on 147th in kinsman out of those three times I visited this year once I set foot in there building pure chaos with the students. I've seen kids swing a teachers roll there eyes scream yell fight cuss anything u could think of.. now I'm questioning the school system and a lot of these households. I kno my son's no Angel 24/7 but I also know he got the fear of discipline from his dad. Is how he acting something I'm not understanding how should I discipline him because I've whopped him last week and had to go to his school yesterday. Is it really the other students? Now I'm trying to get him out that school but Im praying to God he doesn't take that temper or attitude. How do I work on my sons attitude and temper? I need help. My cousin suggested I ask him whats the difference between a joke u should laugh about and when he feels like someone talking about him. He's so sensitive(cancer). But I know he's not a bad kid.. I'm just scared.. behavioral problems keep him in his same grade from last year and I know he's advanced he's on division multipication and big addition and subtraction I pride myself on being a child of hooked on phonics and i stress educational progression.i just want my son to react better when faced with confrontation. Any suggestions any comments feel free to post something it would be great to start a debate for all parents of concerned children

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
