Lockhart man wanted for questioning in attempted midget kidnapping

Lockhart, Texas - On the night of Tuesday, October 25th at approximately 1145pm on the 1200 block of Fannin st. a report was made of a suspicious vehicle with the driver looking for midgets to play with.
Duke Vasquez, 39, was seen posing as a worker for a local service provider. Witnesses say that Vasquez has even disguised his van to look like the company he poses to work for.
One witness who wishes to remain anonymous said that Vasquez was with him at his pink house on Pecos st. Where they have been having an ongoing relationship since Vasquez graduated high school.
The witness was in shock to find out that Vasquez would try to kidnap a midget but can see the connection since Vasquez has a weird obsession with the movie Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
The community is being asked to report any sighting of Vasquez as he is of no danger to anyone but authorities are more concerned for the pet rabbit that Vasquez carries around with him.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
