A North Carolina man was taken into custody by the Federal Bureau of Investigations yesterday morning for suspicion of attempting to sell his child on EBay.
Buffalo, NY native and North Carolina resident Keyoan Fox had been monitored by the authorities after he posted a for sale notice on Craigslist for his 15 month old son Kaiden Fox. The authorities setup an operation pretending to be a potential buyer once they noticed Mr. Fox had setup an auction for his son on EBay.
When asked why he attempted to sell his son, Mr. Fox replied "I really wanted the Nike Mags(referring to the shoes Michael J. Fox wore in the hit film Back to the Future 2, being auctioned at the time). "Everyone kept telling me how cute my son was so I figured that I could really make a nice amount of money selling him"
When asked about selling him and never seeing him again, Mr. Fox them replied that he was certain the buyer would return his son for free as they would not be able to sleep through the night with the constant crying from the child.
Fox had tried to sell his wife in the past but was unsuccessful.
Mr. Fox has attempted to create a GoFundMe page and also reaching out to presidential candidate Donald Trump for support with bail and legal representation.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
