NC Husband Attempts to Sell Wife of 168 Days on Craigslist

A Greensboro, NC man was arrested on Saturday, October 29, 2016 for attempting to sell his wife on Craigslist. Keith Blake, was taken into custody without incident at his home after posting an ad on the local classified site Craigslist for the sell of his wife, Mrs. Charletha Blake.
Mr. Blake's post indicated that his wife was for sale for $500,000. Included in the sale would be the family's BMW 528!, Oscar (the family pet), all rights to the life insurance policies that he was the beneficiary on. Mr. Blake posted pictures of his wife, the car, and the pet on the classified website.
Once taken into custody, Mr. Blake informed federal agents that his wife recently upset him and he believed the easiest way to get rid of her would be to sell her and gain a potential profit. Mr. Blake even informed agents that he would use the money from the sale to go on an upcoming vacation that was planned with his wife. Something also surprising to the agents was Mr. Blake's desire to keep the children after the sale.
Mr. Blake is currently being held on a $250,000 bond in the Guilford County Jail. No legal counsel has been appointed at this time.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
