The serene morning waves lapping at the coastline of Sydney, Australia's historic beach district were interrupted Wednesday morning. At around 6:18AM local time a tidal shift occurred, causing many area businesses to find themselves with water under foot. Local Beachside Barista Amanda Huginkiss commented, "It's like nothing I've ever seen! All of the sudden, the waves increased dramatically and the store began flooding."

This news outlet has traced the cause for the disturbance back to Royse City resident Mimi Poole. Poole was stepping up her Beachbody game something serious that Texas evening. The intensity of Poole's actions effectively temporarily tilted the axis on which the Earth rotates, thus causing drastic consequences in Southern Hemispheric tidal conditions.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
