Touching every corner of the state, Heroin overdose has catapulted in Michigan.

Gritty Romulus lyricist B Pat has lit the wick for anti-heroin abuse, opposed to rap giants such as "Future" and "Lil' Wayne" who popularize the use of Opiates and sedatives. Inspired by his friends death in 2012, he created a song 'Dear Heroin' along with a graphic music video.

"I felt like no body was doing anything about it. I wanted to create a visual where people could see the raw underbelly of the dope world, maybe it will scare someone straight" said Brandon Patrick (B Pat) at a recent interview. "

Some point fingers at big pharm companies/doctors for prescribing opiate based pills like Vicodin, Oxycontin, and Percocet. While America consumes 80 percent of the worlds pain killers, its no surprise these substances are so easily accessible. It begins with the pills, then when that gets too expensive users purchase Heroin because its cheaper. Many recent overdoses were due to sellers cutting the Heroin with trainquilizer's, paralyzing the user bringing them to their death.

"I see the dumbest sh-t go viral everyday, gang fights, twerk videos, whatever, 10 million views, but what about something that can save someones life? Meanwhile I'm over here trying to get this video to hit, asking my fans to share and tag. It has tons of views already, but so many people in the world haven't even seen it yet. If I can save one persons life it will all be worth it" said B Pat.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
